Gozasoro
御座候 近鉄あべのハルカス店
At Gozasoro, choose between kaiten-yaki filled with chunky red bean paste or white bean paste. Enjoy them fresh from the griddle, reheat them at home for a crisp finish, or take a box along as a gift.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Red bean or white bean? When buying kaiten-yaki at Gozasoro, choosing just one can be half the fun. The red filling is chunky azuki bean paste; the white is made from white beans. Some diners say both are generously filled, while others find the sweetness restrained. To compare the two, try the red first, then the white.
They are delicious hot from the griddle, but there are ways to enjoy them after taking them home, too. One diner found that a quick fry on both sides in a pan made the outside crisp; another method is to warm them in the microwave, then crisp the surface in a toaster. You could buy some to eat straight away and others to reheat at home. Some customers have had theirs boxed and wrapped as a gift, making them a handy option when you need a set number.
The shop is on basement 1 of the Tower Building at Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store. Some customers have enjoyed watching the cakes being made while they waited. It is described as a convenient place to stop when short on time, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible.
